After ten years, I am self-publishing a brand-new book: Václav Havel – Tomki Němec, *Post Scriptum*.

*Post Scriptum*, or “what was written afterward,” is my most comprehensive photography book to date, accompanied by my own text and captions.

Across 372 pages, you’ll find 185 black-and-white, double-page photographs. Of these, 170 are new and have never been published in book form. In addition to the photographs, the book includes my own introductory text about my “journey to Václav Havel.”

Although I thought my archive had nothing new to offer—that I’d gone through it countless times and shown everything—the following sentence served as my inspiration:

“Take those photos out of the boxes and see the light of day, bro…”

From March to September 2026, I sat poring over the archive, selecting photos, putting together mockups, searching, consulting with others, scanning, printing previews, not sleeping, not going anywhere, and gaining three kilos…

Once again, I’m self-publishing the book—at my own expense—and it won’t be part of regular book distribution; it will be available solely and exclusively through my e-shop.

If you pre-order it, it’ll help me gauge the level of interest in the book. In return, you’ll get it on better terms until its release (October 2026).
