EDITION 17×17 is a collection of photographs presented in a clean, minimalist style as artifacts in a compact, smaller, and more affordable format.
This photograph from the 17×17 edition is mounted in a wooden frame with a 1 cm profile, made of natural oak. The image area measures 10 × 15 cm, while the overall frame size is 26 × 26 cm. The photograph is set in a white mat with a beveled cut. Some versions are mounted in frames with a three-centimeter depth, adjusted so that the photograph appears to “float” or hover in space — see photo.
The frame glass features a UV-protective coating, so-called museum glass. The photograph is signed on the back and accompanied by a label stating the place and date of origin. The author’s signature on the back of the photograph is also visible within the frame.
As the author of the photographic work, I always strive—beyond the visual experience—to provide the highest possible technical quality, processed to top gallery standards. I print my photographs on archival papers by the German company Hahnemühle or the French company Canson, which meet the highest requirements for preservation and quality. All materials are archival and pH-neutral. When displaying photographs, I recommend observing standard art-handling practices—specifically, that the photograph (like a painting or print) should not be exposed to direct sunlight, humidity, or high temperatures.
The photographs are intended for personal use only, for display in homes or other private spaces. Any other form of use—such as display in public spaces, institutions, publication online or in print/media, or any other use—is permitted only with the author’s written consent.
