Breakfast at Home, Rašín Embankment, Prague, July 5, 1990

In pajamas, sunlight pouring through the windows, a sense of calm. As if nothing special were happening—an impression of a lazy Sunday morning…

In a moment he will finish his tea, put on a suit, and head to Prague Castle, where, in Vladislav Hall, the former dissident Václav Havel will once again be elected President of Czechoslovakia.

Product detailed description

EDITION 17×17 is a collection of photographs presented in a clean, minimalist concept—as artifacts in a compact, smaller, and more affordable format.

This photograph from the 17×17 edition is mounted in a wooden frame with a 1 cm profile, made of natural oak.
The image area measures 10 × 15 cm.
The total frame size is 26 × 26 cm.

The photograph is mounted in a white mat with a bevel cut. Some versions are framed with a three-centimeter deep frame, adjusted so that the photograph appears to float in space—see photo.
The frame glass features a UV-protective layer, so-called museum glass.

The photograph is signed on the reverse and accompanied by a caption indicating the place and date of origin. The author’s signature on the back of the photograph is visible even when framed.

As the author of the photographic work, I always strive—beyond the visual experience—to deliver maximum technical quality, produced at the highest gallery standard.
The photographs are printed on archival papers by the German company Hahnemühle or the French company Canson, meeting the highest requirements for longevity and quality. All materials are archival and pH-neutral.

When displaying the photographs, I recommend observing standard fine-art handling practices—meaning the photograph (like a painting or graphic work) should not be exposed to direct sunlight, humidity, or high temperatures, etc.

The photographs are intended for personal use only, for display in homes or other private spaces.
Any other form of use—such as display in public spaces, institutions, online publication, print/media use, or any other usage—is permitted only with the author’s written consent.
