New York, 1990 – A Dream Journey
Product detailed description
Václav Havel, The Dream Journey, New York, U.S.A., February 1990
A walk through Manhattan less than two months after Václav Havel was elected President of Czechoslovakia.
His first official visit to the United States was described by journalists as “The Dream Journey.”
As the author of the photographic work, I always strive—beyond the visual experience—to deliver the highest possible technical quality, meeting the standards of top-level gallery production. My photographs are printed on archival papers by the German manufacturer Hahnemühle or the French manufacturer Canson, which meet the most demanding requirements for longevity and image quality. All materials used are archival and pH-neutral.
Printing technique: Giclée / Pigment print using Epson Ultrachrome HDR inks—the most widely accepted and preferred technology among photographers, galleries, collectors, and art institutions.
Notes on archiving and handling:
When displaying the photograph, it is recommended to follow standard fine-art handling practices—i.e., the photograph (like a painting or graphic artwork) should not be exposed to direct sunlight, humidity, high temperatures, or chemically aggressive (pH-unstable) environments.
If you are interested in this photograph, please contact me directly so we can arrange a meeting at my studio, where I can provide additional information and present various options for mounting and sizing.
The photographs are intended for personal use only, for display in private homes or other private spaces. Any other form of use—such as display in public spaces, institutions, galleries, or publication online or in print/media, or any other use—is permitted only with the author’s written consent.
